On Tuesday, 28 March 2023, Construction Professionals Pte Ltd (CPPL) received a Certificate of Appreciation from Singapore’s Senior Minister of State (SMS), Ministry of Communications and Information & Ministry of National Development, Mr Tan Kiat How, during the official launch of the Shared Service Providers (SSP) service at the opening ceremony of BuildTech Asia 2023.
Responding to the Building and Construction Authority (BCA)’s push for the use of Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) as a key enabler to transform Singapore’s built environment industry, CPPL was an early supporter of the SSP programme since its pilot phase and is currently one of four registered IDD SSP under the Specialist Trade Alliance of Singapore (STAS).
Registered SSPs fulfil standards of IDD service offerings set by STAS which aim to uphold the high quality of supply and manpower in the construction value chain.
“To help drive digital transformation in the built environment through IDD, we need to ensure that we can serve the IDD procurement needs of our stakeholders,” said Mr Tan Cheng Chuah, Managing Director of CPPL, who received the Certificate from SMS Tan.
“The SSP service provides CPPL opportunities to engage industry stakeholders and better understand their expectations and requirements. The platform also allows us to exchange ideas with other industry players and collectively commit to improving productivity and resilience in our built environment.”
Specialists Trade Alliance of Singapore (STAS) administers the Registry of Shared Services to serve the IDD procurement needs of the stakeholders in the Built Environment sector, especially Consultants, Builders, Specialist Contractors and Suppliers.
